Drinks

We believe that drinking water during the day is vital for the well being of the child.  All children are encouraged to drink at break, lunch time and in lessons.  Children are provided with named plastic bottles and can fill them from water coolers/fountains placed around school.

Children need to take the bottles home for parents to wash at regular intervals.

Tuck

We operate a healthy eating policy at The Grove.  Children are encouraged to bring a healthy snack to eat at break time such as fruit, dried fruit or toast.  Chocolate, cakes, sweets & crisps are not allowed.

At Key Stage 1 children are provided with a piece of fruit every day.

The Whole School Food policy can be found here.
