RSHE Parent Consultation

From September 2020, in line with Government Policy, the teaching of Relationships, Sex and Health Education will become statutory.

Parents and carers are the prime educators for children and our role is to complement and reinforce this role and build on what pupils learn at home. Through our current Personal, Social Health Education (PSHE) curriculum we already teach many aspects of the Relationship Curriculum. However, we want to take this opportunity to collect parental views on when you consider is the appropriate age to teach specific aspects of the Relationships curriculum as this can be a sensitive subject for cultural or religious reasons.

In order to work in partnership with our parents and carers we would like to ask you to complete a brief survey that should take no more than five minutes to complete. At the end of survey, you will be asked if you would like to be part of a Parent Working Party to help the school in mapping the Relationships curriculum that will be delivered at The Grove.  If you wish to be part of this Working Group, please ensure you indicate this.
